Full-Time Order Processing Position

We are looking to fill our Full-Time Order Processing position. We seek an individual who pays attention to details—someone happy to repeat the same process. The right person is not afraid to pick up the phone and call our customers to discuss the status of their orders. They have excellent customer service skills. Successful candidates must be able to lift 75 lbs.

SPL is a growing owner-operated business in Dripping Springs, Texas, that sells automotive suspension parts directly to customers and through our global distribution partners. Our close-knit team loves racing cars and appreciates our customers and distribution partners servicing car enthusiasts. We engineer and manufacture our parts right here in Texas.

SPL prides itself on providing the best customer service in the industry. Our packages ship out quickly, correctly, and with all the parts the customer needs. 

The Job

This position is the critical point of contact for all orders received. The person in this position ensures that the assembly staff knows the order details to be fulfilled. Your role is to send the order sent to the customer on time. Your day will consist of receiving orders through email and phone calls, fielding customer questions and complaints, and shipping the built orders our assembly team puts together for you. 

A full-time position from 9-5 pm.

Job Description:

  • Processing orders 
    • You will be responsible for generating invoices for orders that are received from our website and any of our dealers. 
    • Generating ETAs for any out-of-stock items and communicating that to the customer
    • Coordinating Shipping both domestically and internationally. We currently use UPS as our primary shipping method and WorldShip as our shipping application. 
    • Creation of invoices and sales orders.
  • Customer service 
    • You will be the first point of contact for any phone calls or emails from the customer or dealer. 
    • Ensuring you stay on top of emails and voicemails is paramount. 

We will train you on the products so that you can offer the most to the customer. Still, suppose it is outside your scope of product knowledge. In that case, you can transfer it to the technical support line to ensure they order the correct products.

The majority of your day will be spent shipping orders out to customers. 

You will be the final set of eyes on each order to ensure everything ordered is in the package. The order was packaged adequately to ensure no damage, and the order was addressed to the correct address/location for the customer. (Some distributors have multiple warehouse locations)

Accuracy is the critical measurement for this position. Orders filled correctly vs. incorrectly. Orders shipped correctly vs. incorrectly. ETAs provided or not provided. 

You will also be the front line of customer relations, handling all phone calls and emails.

Bonus:

  • Basic Microsoft app knowledge (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of the Worldship application
  • Experience shipping with UPS
  • Experience creating and checking invoices.
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks
  • HTML knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with Big-Commerce or another online e-commerce platform
