    Great products at SPL

Posted by Paul Oberle on 12th Sep 2019

I'm in the process of upgrading my 1993 240sx with a bunch of new SPL parts - previously it was already all SPL. Now the car has over 400 hp on e85 (can flex-burn e85 or any other octane provided) and is getting a new reinforced s14 sub-frame and GTR r33 brakes among other upgrades that have been applied. The quality of SPL parts is undeniable and their customer service is the best - allowing me to upgrade all my older parts to the newest variant. The car is well planted and handles with excellence because of SPL. When you see the complete car many 240 fans will be happy... and anyone who doesn't understand what makes the 240 such a great car individually and a platform for racing will get a taste if they take a ride.

By the way - I've had SPL on this car for almost a decade... and when I was racing the car with its original KA24DE (on a small track) I would typically outpace cars that were 10-25 years newer and with 50 - 100 hp more.

Now the car is too fast for me and I have to relearn how to drive it but at relatively normal speeds the car handles predictably and its just as easy now as it was before to maneuver elegantly.
