GZA gauge bezels install

1.  Remove hood over gauge cluster by removing 2 philip head screws under the hood.

2.  Remove the AC control and light control pods by removing the 2 philip head screws under each pod.  Unplug the connectors at the back of the control pods.

3.  Remove the emergency blinker button by carefully prying it off, then remove the emergency blinker switch (2 philip head screws) and unplug the connector on the back of the switch.

4.  Remove 2 philip/hex head screws on the top holding the gauge cluster and the gauge cluster surround.  Also remove 4 philip/hex head screws holding down the gauge cluster surround, 2 each inside the housings that were holding the AC and light control pods.

5.  Remove the gauge cluster surround, carefully popping off the 2 spring clips near where the steering column is.

6.  There are 2 more philip head screws holding the gauge cluster from underneath.  Once those are removed, unplug the connectors on the back of the cluster and remove the cluster.

7.  Pop off the plastic cover for the gauge cluster, there are 4 clips on top and 4 clips on the bottom.  Do not use excessive force, it should be fairly easy to engage the clips by hand.

8.  Install the gauge bezels.  The bezels can usually just be pushed on, but if any bezel refuses to stay on, it would be necessary to use some epoxy.  Use a fast setting epoxy that works on plastic and metal.  Clean the surfaces carefully first.  Use as little epoxy as possible to avoid getting epoxy on the gauge cluster.

9.  Reinstall everything, working backwards.  We recommend checking that the gauges are working fine first by starting the car with the gauge cluster connected, before reinstalling everything..
